International Criminal Justice Day is another name of World Day for International Justice. The day unites all individuals who try to help equity, advance casualty privileges, and help in the anticipation of crimes that disturbs the world’s peace, security, and prosperity.

WHAT IS WORLD DAY FOR INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE?

It is the first independent and permanent international court that can hear cases including the most serious asserted offences of international humanitarian law, including war crimes, and crimes against humanity.

Many countries adopted a statute in Rome, making the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court is the name of this regulation.

the ICC is a resource open when a country can’t able to lead investigations and bring cases against offenders.

WHEN IT IS CELEBRATED?

It is celebrated on July 17, every year people all over the planet observe an international holiday with the end goal to recognise the developing system of international criminal justice.

On this day, people all around the world arrange activities to help the International Criminal Court and international criminal justice.

HISTORY

On July 17, 1998, the Rome Statute was adopted, and since this day is perceived as World Day for International Justice. The International Criminal Court (ICC) was established with the guidance of this treaty.

Since that time in 1998, nearly 80 States, each addressing a different part of the world, have sanctioned the Court’s treaty, and around 139 nations have signed it.

HOW IS WORLD DAY FOR INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE CELEBRATED?

Various activities are arranged worldwide to recognize this day to help the International Criminal Court (ICC). Furthermore, various media sources, distributions and radio broadcasts publicize this day.

Numerous associations bring issues to light of specific themes, like massacres, violence against ladies, and so on.
