It rotates around Shamshera/Balli, attempted by Ranbir Kapoor in his most memorable twofold role as father and child at the same time, the saviour of his tribe, which is avoided by high-standing chumps of the British for having a place with the lower station. The inheritance and disgrace of the dad can’t be shaken by the child as he rises indeed for his kin both against the British and degenerate Indian police authorities like Daroga Shuddh Singh, played by Sanjay Dutt.
