Finally, Shamshera has been released in theatres. Major problems are occurring with film as at first, it leaked online on pirated websites and now because of that movie collection is suffering.

On Friday, the action-packed Shamshera was released in theatres. Shamshera movie promotions have been done on a big scale but the same has not exactly converted into a big box office collection. Shamshera Movie collection on 1st day was estimated at around 10 crores in Hindi. This is not a good start for Shamshera a movie that has many expectations and was set up on a huge scale and featured big names like Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in the lead. The movie has performed nicely in a few places, but ‘Shamshera’ has failed to make it big in the Mumbai area. Movie performing good in Delhi / UP. Viewers have mixed reviews for the movie, some said awesome and some said very lengthy and average. The film was released on more than 4000 screens in Hindi. Directed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. It rotates around Shamshera/Balli, attempted by Ranbir Kapoor in his most memorable twofold role as father and child at the same time. Ranbir speaks about the experience of working with Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir said, “When you have a villain like him in the film – he’s like the Thanos of India. You have to build your body at least a little bit because I have to stand up against him. Aaj kal actors ko actor nahi – actor aur athlete banna padta hai.
